ABOUT ME
Meet Lyndal

Hi, I’m Lyndal. I specialise in helping people present their strengths clearly, position themselves with confidence and move forward in their careers. There is nothing better than seeing a client secure the role they have worked hard for.
My Background
I have spent more than 20 years working across recruitment, talent acquisition and senior-level career consulting, supporting a wide range of Canterbury and national organisations as well as global companies. My work has included roles within respected local businesses and international brands, giving me a strong understanding of how organisations operate, what leaders look for and how hiring decisions are made.
This experience has shaped the way I work today. I bring a practical, grounded approach to every engagement, helping clients at all levels – from emerging professionals through to executives and governance candidates – communicate their capability in a clear, professional and commercially aligned way.
How it all began
The turning point for Lyndal came while recruiting a senior finance role. She had already shortlisted, interviewed and was close to final decision when she received a call from a candidate she had previously placed in the “no” pile. Instead of dismissing the call, she took the time to offer feedback. The conversation shifted her view completely. Once they talked through his background, achievements and experience, it was clear he was far stronger than his documents suggested. Long story short – he got the job.
It raised a confronting question. How many high-calibre candidates were being overlooked simply because their CV or cover letter didn’t reflect their capability? And on the other side, how many organisations were unintentionally missing out on exceptional talent because the system relied so heavily on a candidate’s ability to produce strong, well-written application documents?
The experience stayed with Lyndal. Her business was already established, but this moment sharpened her focus. It highlighted the need for high-quality, strategically written documents at the senior and executive level, where clarity, commercial alignment and professional presentation directly influence hiring decisions. Her work has centred on that space ever since.
Today, Lyndal works closely with clients to produce professionally written CVs, LinkedIn profiles and supporting documents that reflect each person’s unique experience and capability. Her approach is collaborative and practical, grounded in her background in recruitment and her understanding of how employers make decisions. She takes the time to understand where clients want to go and helps them present themselves with clarity and confidence..
Time outside work
Spending time with others is important to Lyndal. She values time with family and friends and especially enjoys being a grandmother to her two beautiful grandchildren. As an early riser, she can often be found in the pool or at the gym before the sun comes up – a routine that keeps her grounded, clear headed and focused.
Lyndal’s interests include open-water swimming, paddle boarding and yoga, all of which help her maintain balance and well-being. Over the years she has also taken part in a range of endurance events, including the Tauranga Half Ironman, five half marathons, multiple 10km relays in the Buller Gorge Marathon and the Nelson-based ‘Loop the Lake’ 25km Trail Run.
She shares these interests because she believes strongly in the value of having a full life outside work. The ability to recharge, stay healthy and maintain meaningful connections contributes to both personal well-being and professional clarity – something she encourages in the clients she works with.
